The Crystal Golem[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a transformation of Titan Metal Sonic brought upon by the Crystalline Magic of Ixis Naugus.
Appearance[]
Crystal Golem resembles Titan Metal Sonic to a great degree, albeit with a coat of green crystals enveloping its body, thereby making his body more jagged in appearance.
History[]
During Dr. Eggman's Operation: Clean Sweep, Titan Metal Sonic was one of the many enemies that attacked New Mobotropolis. Naugus, out to protect the kingdom he had just claimed, used a huge blast of Crystalline Magic to transform Titan Metal Sonic into the Crystal Golem. The Crystal Golem was then commanded by Naugus to protect the city from Eggman's Egg Annihilator Beam, which it did exactly, blocking the attack with its body. This in turn shattered the Crystal Golem into several pieces which rained down on New Mobotropolis.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
The Crystal Golem has shown incredible durability, as it was able to block the Egg Annihilator Beam from harming New Mobotropolis, although it was unable to survive the attack itself.[1]
