The Cryo-Genic Tube is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.

Appearance[]
The Cryo-Genic Tube has varied slightly in appearance. It was initially depicted akin to a black pod with yellow liquid, but most later depictions show it as a glass tube with green liquid inside.
Features and traits[]
The Cryo-Genic Tube can help keep a person alive, even when they are are on the brink of death. The person within the tube does not appear to age.
History[]
During the Great War, Alicia was forced to flee Mobotropolis to the Floating Island. However, while on her way there, her ship was attacked by Overlanders, causing it to crash land on the island, and badly wounding her in the process. She was found and placed in stasis within the Cryo-Genic Tube by the Brotherhood of Guardians, where she would remain in for 15 years. She was soon found by her the Royal Secret Service and brought back home. Some solutions to get her out of her coma were to use the the Ring of Acorns, but after Amy Rose used the last of it's magic power to make herself older, that option was closed off. She was later removed from the tube in an attempt by Dr. Quack to use a Nanite solution that Elias and recovered from Robotropolis, to help with her condition, and she went under intensive surgery. This proved to be succesful, as she soon would awaken from her 15 year coma.[1][2][3][4][5]
