Crisis City is a stage in the upcoming game Sonic Generations. It will represent Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) in the Modern Era of the game. The boss of the level will be the rival battle with Silver the Hedgehog. As well as the fact that Metal Sonic will be the boss of Chemical Plant and that Shadow the Hedgehog will be the boss of City Escape, Silver will be the boss of Crisis City. Iblis's minions are also very likely to return in this stage.

This is likely part of an alternate timeline as the events of Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) were negated due to the ending of it.

This is one of the only stages in Sonic Generations to come from an alternate timeline. The other is Stardust Speedway, which is set in the Bad Future.
The remix from this stage is very different from the original version, it's more heavy, but still sounds like the original.
This stage is the first stage that is also a boss stage on the console version. Interestingly, Sonic and Silver never actually encountered each other on this stage.
One of the balls of debris Silver throws contains a "Chaos in Space III" sign.
Silver is the only rival boss not to be announced in any of the era trailers. You'd expect to see him announced at the end of the Modern era trailer as Shadow was for the Dreamcast era and Classic Metal Sonic for the Classic era, but instead Perfect Chaos is announced in the Modern era trailer.
