The Cover F (カバーF,Kabā F?), also known as Cover-F, is an Extreme Gear that appears as a Bike type in Sonic Riders and later as an Air Ride type in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. As a part of the Cover models of Extreme Gear, the Cover F specializes in offsetting the weaknesses that its rider may possess: in this Gear's case, it focuses on providing its rider with greater maximum speed and endurance over rough terrain.
This Extreme Gear first appeared in Sonic Riders, as a Bike type Extreme Gear named "Cover-F". According to its profile, the Cover-F is enhanced especially for Flight Type characters, meaning that only the Flight Type characters in the game can use it. It can be purchased at the shop for 500 Rings.
The design for the Cover-F in Sonic Riders mostly resembles that of a traditional scooter. It is mainly colored yellow, with white and black highlights on the front and each side of the rear, a black seat and a black floorboard.

As an Extreme Gear Bike in Sonic Riders, the Cover-F is more powerful, but less maneuverable and less fuel efficient than most other types of Extreme Gears.
Due to the Flight Type characters possessing better acceleration than other characters in the game, but lack higher speeds and greater endurance, the Cover-F gives good stats to boost its rider's speed and endurance in exchange for a smaller Air Tank.

Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity[]
Gear that offsets the flight type's weaknesses with improved endurance and max speed.
This Extreme Gear made a reappearance in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, in which it was given a slightly new name, "Cover F" and had been redesigned to be an Air Ride type Extreme Gear. According to its profile, it covers the flight type's weaknesses by granting greater top speed and endurance. It is available from the start of the game.
The Cover F in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity is similar in appearance to the Advantage F, but with a more smooth shape and thicker wings. While it otherwise maintains its yellow color scheme from the previous game, it also has white outlined highlights on the front and on its back points and a black seat section.
Abilities and traits[]
As an Air Ride type Extreme Gear, the Cover F is capable of Air Riding. By talking off Catapults, the Cover F can begin gliding through midair and Dash Rings, gaining Gravity Points while doing so, until the rider loses too much momentum and falls.
Like in the previous title, Cover F possesses above average Limit and Power stats, granting the user enhanced speed and endurance.
