Cotton Candy Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Cotton Candy Chao have cyan, pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms or feet have digits. They also have a floating white dot above their heads, white tips on their arms, feet and head points, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Cotton Candy Chao is a collectible pet of the "Epic" rarity. It can be unlocked at the blue and purple vending machine in Chemical Plant. When purchasing from this vending machine, the player has a 4% chance of getting a Cotton Candy Chao.

In gameplay, Cotton Candy Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Cotton Candy Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Cotton Candy Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Cotton Candy Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Cotton Candy Chao by collecting five Cotton Candy Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Cotton Candy Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Cotton Candy Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
