Coral Cave is the third zone in Sonic Rush Adventure. It was orginally a completly submerged sea cavern located in the Sol Dimension, until Marine accidentally brought it up to the surface.
Overview
Coral Cave is in a partially submerged cave system, with several underwater segments. It is similar to Quartz Quadrant, with coral replacing gemstones and no sign of machinery.
The main "gimmick" of this zone is the mine cart. In Act 2, there are several mine cart sections were you can jump only. Towards the end of Act 2, the mine cart will fall into a dark 3D cavern. You can jump, and at forks you can turn left and right.
The boss of this zone is Ghost Kraken. You can run on a circular plane. The boss will attack using its tentacles and by spitting ink at Sonic and, when its health is 0, the screen. You can damage it by hitting its tentacles. The boss will, at times, pull the playing field underwater, but Sonic (nor Blaze, when re-battling it) isn't affected by it. However, the tentacles used to pull the field underwater flick the player away when they try to go over or smash through them, effectively cornering the player in one part of the ring.
