The Containment Bubble[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. It is a type of containment unit.

The Containment Bubbles are egg-shaped glass containers with red-colored covers at the top and bottom.

Powers and traits

Containment Bubbles act as normal containers for any object or small person.[1]

Flock Together

After being attacked on a Rescue Shuttle by a Zombot Charmy and a flock of Zombot Flickies, Vector grabbed a Containment Bubble to try and catch the bee. After failing several times to capture him, Vector used one of Espio's smoke bombs to stun the Flickies and create a distraction long enough to capture Charmy successfully.[2]

The Last Minute

Shortly after Vector and Espio's Rescue Shuttle returned to Restoration HQ, a refugee from Pine Grove Village was revealed to have been infected by the Metal Virus and swiftly turned into a Zombot. This caused a panic among the refugees and the tumult aided Charmy in breaking out of his Containment Bubble.[1]
