— Conquering Storm, Sonic the Hedgehog #282

Conquering Storm is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is a Mobian lynx and the Egg Boss of the Egg Clan Army.

Conquering Storm is a mobian brown lynx with black markings. Her tufted ears are black on the ends and are pushed down by her straw conical hat. Her black bangs are visible beneath her hat and hang over her face, and she wears purple eyeshadow. She also wears a purple gi-like outfit stylized after Dr. Eggman's uniform trimmed in white and belted at the waist. She also wears fingerless black gloves with thick red cuffs and black boots with metal reinforcements. Also, her eyes have been modified or replaced with cybernetics, her sclera being black and her irises and pupils being red.

Shattered World Crisis

Act Two

When Dr. Eggman's Eggman Land was taken over by the Naugus twins, Conquering Storm was called in alongside her fellow Egg Bosses to help the doctor take it back.[2][4] Being split into teams, Conquering Storm and Avalon's Egg Boss Lord Mordred Hood were paired together and given the task of taking out the twins. When the duo run across Wendy Naugus' minions, the Witchcarters, riding the ferris wheel, with their guards down, Conquering Storm decided to run straight into battle against the trio, much to the protest of her comrade.[4]

The Witchcarters put up a challenge for Storm but after they were powered down, they were easily defeated.[5] Storm then joined Eggman and her fellow Egg Bosses in the final battle against Walter and Wendy Naugus. They were successful in driving them back, though Wendy was made an Egg Boss in the process.[5][6]

Conquering Storm pins Dulcy down, from Sonic the Hedgehog #282.

After the mission, Conquering Storm returned back to base and was informed of the Gaia Phoenix's transformation into the Dark Gaia Phoenix.[6] Soon after, she sent a Badnik Horde to deal with some Freedom Fighters but to no avail. Storm believed that they would be after the Gaia Temple which the Gaia Phoenix guarded and with this she planned to take advantage of the moment so that she could claim the temple.[7]

Sonic the Werehog took on the Dark Gaia Phoenix but Conquering Storm found it odd as he was the only one there. Despite this, Storm launched an attack with the Egg Clan Army on both the Werehog and the Dark Gaia Phoenix, only to be ambushed by the remaining Freedom Fighters and the Shijin Warriors. Chip managed to revert the Dark Gaia Phoenix's transformation back to its original form and it went on to destroy the Egg Clan Army Dojo. Swearing to Dulcy the Dragon that her victory would be her last, Storm bitterly retreated.[3]

A ruthless, brutal, arrogant, narcissistic, and sadistic warrior with no empathy for anyone, Storm is willing to do whatever it takes to get her way. Obsessed with absolute power, she is a woman dedicated to her plans and nothing more or less. While normally being quite calm and stoic, she can get angered or frustrated, especially when she gets defeated or outsmarted. Her arrogance is heightened to the point where she outright hates weakness, and her having them.

Powers and abilities

Storm has some skills as a ninja and in stealth. Later, she also was given cybernetics for her eyes.
