Collision Chaos Zone is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is the first of two pocket zones adjacent to the Prime Zone Dr. Robotnik made as a trap for the hero.

Description[]

It's a colorful Zone with zig-zag patterns. The surrounding area has a lot of blocky structures with little rhyme or reason, but Dr. Ivo Robotnik didn't need to put much care in design for his trap.[2]

History[]

Past[]

SnivelyFailsToKeepUpTheDisguise(StH25)

Snively tries to keep up the ruse but it quickly fails, from Sonic the Hedgehog #25.

Collision Chaos Zone was created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik to used as a trap for Sonic the Hedgehog, in which Amy Rose, and Tails as a bonus, served as bait.[2]

Go Ahead, Mecha my Day[]

Dr. Ivo Robotnik proceeded with his plan by making an announcement to the Freedom Fighters about his new Zone, Collision Chaos Zone, and focused on Sonic's ego. While it didn't immediately work, he had earlier broken the fourth wall by stealing Archie Comic’s mail, Sonic Grams, to find the address of a helpless Amy Rose, one of Sonic the Hedgehog's best pen-pal. Dr. Robotnik informs them of his brand new, little hostage and reveled in showing her off to the heroes. Sonic easily took the bait, ready to rush off into Robotnik’s plan.[2]

Despite Sally’s efforts to form a counter plan, Sonic took off to Robotnik’s Zones after sending Tails ahead of him. Tails, however, was taking too long for a reconnaissance and Sonic would soon realize why when Robotnik appeared on a monitor, gloating that he now has another hostage. Sonic no longer hesitated and entered into the Collision Chaos Zone.

Sonic leaves Collision Chaos Zone (Archie)

Sonic makes his way into Stardust Speedway Zone, from Sonic the Hedgehog #25.

Meanwhile, Dr. Robotnik's trap involved Snively Robotnik to wear a look-alike suit of the great doctor. Snively is to fly in the Robo-Pod with constant laser fire behind Sonic and destroy the bridges as Sonic ran through Collision Chaos Zone, preventing him from retreating. However, Sonic didn't mind someone following him one bit and continue moving forward into the Stardust Speedway, meeting Metal Sonic v1.0 for the first time.[2]
