Cocoa Cat[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She was a mobian cat who served and died during the Great War, and was the mother of Hershey St. John.

Appearance[]

Cocoa Cat is a black humanoid cat with blue eyes, and white patches of fur and hair on her body and face. For attire, she wears a small green scarf, and brown jacket, and a tan bracelets on both her let and right arms.[1]

History[]

Service during the Great War[]

During one of the many Overlander assaults on Mobotropolis, Cocoa Cat and Bernadette Hedgehog lead a group of troops through a group of underground tunnels that led to an opening behind enemy lines. Cocoa soon emerged from the tunnel, and after a brief battle unsuccessfully attempted to prevent the Overlander leader Colin Kintobor from escaping down said tunnel. At some later point during the great war, Cocoa Cat was killed by unknown causes.[1][2]

Personality[]

Although little of Cocoa Cat's personality is known, she appears to have a cheerful attitude towards other mobians, and an highly aggressive one towards overlanders.[1]

Powers and abilities[]

Cocoa Cat possesses eyesight superior to that of most other mobians.[1]

Trivia[]

  • While Cocoa Cat was not present on writer Ian Flynn's "death list",[3] Ian later stated on his Q&A thread that he was "counting her as a casualty of the Great War."[2]
