Christopher Evan Welch (b. 1982) is an American actor who is known among the Sonic community as the voice actor for Tails in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. He took on this role when he was only 11. He was replaced in the Sonic Christmas Blast TV special by Chris Turner due to his voice changing as he grew into puberty. Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog is the only cartoon series that would feature him.

He did however do live-action scenes in numberous television shows such as CSI, Law & Order, and The Practice. He's also played parts in The Stepford Wives, The Interpreter, War of the Worlds, and many others.

Christopher Welsh was also the member of The Ottoman Bigwigs, a Seattle-based band, but the group disbanded after he moved to New York to persue an acting career. However, they do re-unite on occasion and still perform concerts.
