Christopher Stephen Welch (born 1983) is a Canadian actor who has done voice acting for the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series.

Biography

As a child, Welch appeared in many television commercials. At the age of 10, he auditioned for the voice of Tails in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, landing his first and only voice acting job. He was replaced in the Sonic Christmas Blast TV special by Chris Turner due to his changing voice. Welch stopped acting at the age of 13, and is now a sales representative for a food distributor in Vancouver.^[1]

Christopher Welch never worked directly alongside Jaleel White, the voice of Sonic.
- Christopher did however work alongside Long John Baldry, Gary Chalk and Phil Hayes, the voices of Robotnik, Grounder and Scratch respectively. ^{[citation needed]}
Welch is sometimes confused for another guy of the same named but with the middle name "Evan" while the Welch who voiced Tails' middle is Stephen,(Even Welch)who was born in 1965 and died in late 2013.
