"Questionnaire: Does the Orangutan character who has appeared a few times now have a name? / spiritsonic: He doesn’t have an official name, no– the current policy is that background characters don’t get names unless it’s needed for a story, or they get upgraded to a regular cast member. In the scripts he’s “Chief Mechanic”, and isn’t really intended to show up more than every once in a while."
