The Chaotic Inferno Zone is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is the native Zone of the Ifrit, and as suggested by its name is a fiery reality of burning ruins, similar to the Burning Ruin Zone.
History
Dr. Eggman Nega attempted to free the Ifrit from this realm in order to use its power for his plans of conquest. However, he was thwarted in this ambition by a group of heroes including Sonic the Hedgehog and Silver the Hedgehog, and ended up trapped with his intended instrument of direction.[1] The Ifrit later escaped this realm on its own via one of the Genesis Portals, only to be lured back in and trapped again by the teamwork of Sonic and Silver.[2]
