The Chaos Siphon Suit,[1] also known simply as the Chaos Syphon,[2] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It was a device created by Dr. Finitevus which was based off Dimitri and Edmund's original design of the Chaos Syphon.
Description[]
Appearance[]
The Chaos Siphon suit is a metallic silver three-piece suit composed of a tunic, a kilt, and a pair of boots. Notably, the tunic sports a device for remotely channeling Chaos energy strapped across it.[1]
Features and traits[]
When used correctly, the Chaos Siphon Suit can drain Chaos energy from individuals. However, if turned off during the procedure, all of said collected energy will be redirected upon the wearer of the suit. Additionally, the suit has a strict limit on the amount of energy it can contain, with it being overloaded when used to handle massive amounts of energy.[2][1][3]
History[]
Creation and usage[]
The Chaos Siphon Suit was created by Dr. Finitevus, a promising Chaos energy scientist from Albion. When the Albion High Council noticed the power of Chaos Knuckles driving him out of control, they decided to set up a trap so that Finitevus could safely drain Knuckles of his power. Once Chaos Knuckles was captured, and the Siphon was activated, however, the operation was sabotaged by Charmy and Saffron Bee, leading to the Chaos energy traveling through the suit. Coupled with Chaos Knuckles' power overloading the system, this caused the suit to explode, mutating Dr. Finitevus into an albino echidna with the ability to control corrupt Chaos energy.[2][1][3]
