Description [ ] The Chaos Flame Sword's icon takes the sword with firing flame in its blade.
Overview [ ] In gameplay, the Chaos Flame Sword can only be obtained at random from Item Boxes by Warrior Shadow . As with most other Items, Metal Sonic and Metal Sonic Mach 3.0 can also use the Chaos Flame Sword if they use the Steal Item, or Fortune Teller Amy if she uses Lucky Draw or Wall of Cards to steal it from the aforementioned user.
Once obtained, the player can utilize the Chaos Flame Sword by pressing its icon on the bottom of the HUD. When used, the user will launch the flaming sword which travels down the lane it was deployed on in front of the user until it hits either a rival character, Badnik or obstacle, or it wears off. After traveling down its lane for about one second though, the sword will stop up and assume a stationary position, which became said pool of lava in the user's gameplay . Rival characters who contact the sword, even the user themselves if touches the said lava, will take damage, lose Rings and slow down temporarily. Not just dealt damage, aforementioned characters will slowly drain out more Rings for a short amount of time. Additionally, once the Chaos Flame Sword hits any rival character, Badnik or obstacle, the lava won't be created. To avoid the Chaos Flame Sword's sword/lava, the character must step out its lane or jump over it.
The Chaos Flame Sword can also be upgraded by leveling the user up to level 6 and 12 respectively. If the player is upgraded to level 6, the user will have an increased chance to obtain two of the Chaos Flame Sword in pickup. If the player is upgraded to level 12, the user will have an increased chance to obtain three of the Chaos Flame Sword in pickup.
