The Chaos Energy Cannon is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. It is a massive orbital energy cannon created by Dr. Eggman.
Description
Appearance
Not much of the Chaos Energy Cannon has been revealed. What has been shown however, is that it possesses a long barrel with several ring-like frames surrounding it.
Features and abilities
The Chaos Energy Cannon is a weapon of enormous power and destructive capability, as a single shot from it was able to shatter the surface of the world into multiple chunks.
History
Past
At some point in the recent past, the Chaos Energy Cannon was used by Dr. Eggman. When this weapon was fired at the planet, it resulted in the planet breaking into several pieces.[1]
