When using the Chaos Dash, Shadow is able to move across light trails consisting of green Chaos energy at a rapid speed, helping him reach new paths and cover ground much more efficiently.
Overview[]
In Shadow Generations, the Chaos Dash is one of Shadow's primary moves. Across a level, spheres of green light can be found, acting as indicators for the move. Upon the activation of Chaos Control, these lights expand to become trails of Chaos energy resembling Grind Rails, which the player can move across at an incredible speed. If Shadow is still on the trail when the timer for Chaos Control expires, Shadow will complete the Chaos Dash on the trail and then Chaos Control wears off. This move is functionally similar to the Light Speed Dash.
To use the Chaos Dash in gameplay, the player has to touch a Chaos energy trail while Chaos Control is active.
Chaos Dash is very similar to Light Speed Dash. Instead of it being a move that traverses through a trail of Rings, it instead traverses through trails of Chaos energy.
