Chaos Control is a technique that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is an ability infused with the power of Chaos energy usually used for warping time and space or imitating other Chaos Powers.
Description
Chaos Control is a special power that is created by using the Chaos Force power. Just like other Chaos energy-based attacks, this can performed by either natural link to the Chaos Force or by tapping on the Chaos Emeralds power which also use the same link.
Chaos Control lends the user a power to due space and time manipulations which mostly used for stop time perfectly for an enemy, or to teleport instantly to another location or time which is seems to be done in a more faster motion than in games.
The Chaos Control is like any of the Chaos powers, based on how many chaos energy the user can summon to induce, as with a direct link, user can just warps short distances and stop time for hours, while with Chaos Emeralds, users can teleport through different locations, stop time for years for any enemy and warp himself through dimensions and time and as well teleport others with them. Chaos Control can also be used in restoring multiverse to their regular state, if some happened to them (When Worlds Collide)
Chaos Control can also be modeled into different powers and abilities, like energy spears, energy explosions, energy blasts and levitation, giving it multiple use in the user hands.
The Chaos Control can only be performed by having the Chaos Emeralds on a close proxmarity or by natural link to Chaos Force and cannot be induced by the Sol Emeralds (SU: #21).
Trivia
- in Sonic Universe: #5, there appears to be a similarity between Silver's psychokinesis and Lara-Su's Chaos Control levitation, as both abilities appeared quite similar when put to use in the respect that they were the same color and engulfed whatever it was used on in an orb of green energy.
