Chaos 1 is a transformation that appears in the anime series Sonic X. It is the form attained by Chaos after absorbing the negative chaos energy of one Chaos Emeralds.
Appearance[]
Chaos 1 looks much like Chaos 2, except it is slightly shorter and less robust. Relative to Chaos 2, it has a slimmer build and smaller hands, and the bones in its arms are a white color rather than a grey-white color like with Chaos 2. Its head shape and horns are very similar to Chaos 0, and it overall looks more or less like a larger version of Chaos 0.

Chaos Saga[]
While Sonic was running across the city, he eventually came into contact with Chaos, who was threatening police officers and citizens. While Sonic began to fight Chaos 0, Eggman showed up and fed Chaos 0 the yellow Chaos Emerald, allowing for the emergence of Chaos 1. Chaos 1 then continued the fight against Sonic, overpowering the hedgehog. However, when Knuckles showed up to assist Sonic in fighting Chaos 1, Eggman fed the red Chaos Emerald to Chaos 1, further transforming it into Chaos 2.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
As Chaos 1, Chaos' attack and defense are much greater than when it was Chaos 0.[2]
Chaos 1 possesses incredible super strength which has only been heightened following its transformation, and its hydrokinetic abilities have been enhanced as well; Being made of liquid chaos energy, Chaos 1 is nearly indestructible and can mimic the properties of water; if dissipated, it can reconstitute itself again.

- Along with Chaos 2, Chaos 1 is the only one of Chaos' forms who did not get an eyecatch card.
