The Chaometer is an object that appears in Sonic Underground. It is a device used to seek out Chaos Emeralds.

Description

The Chaometer is yellow device with two probes to detect energy and a gauge to indicate the strength of radiation. It has a red nozzle to adjust the device with. It can be used to located Chaos Emeralds or their Chaos energy, including the residue of Chaos energy where Chaos Emerald once was.

Trivia

• The Chaometer works similar to a geiger counter, only instead of actual radiation, it detects Chaos energy.
