"Chao Tales - Ep. 7" is the seventh episode of the online web series Chao Tales. It first aired on 15 May 2025, on the Sonic the Hedgehog series official social media accounts.
Synopsis[]
As winter closes in on the garden, the evil Dr. Eggman attacks, determined to level the Chao's precious forest for lumber. But Sonic is ready for him... or at least he thinks he is.

Plot[]
It begins during the wintertime, with Dr. Eggman piloting one of his mechs to tear down the trees surrounding the Chao Garden. Shadow Chao steps forward to defend the frightened Chao, bravely leaping at Eggman, only to be swiftly knocked aside. Fortunately, Sonic catches them just in time. Without hesitation, Sonic charges at Eggman, dashing up a tree and landing a homing attack chain on the mech's right arm, damaging it. The newborn Chao tries to join the fight, but Eggman swats it away, shattering its egg-shaped helmet.
As Sonic and Shadow Chao prepare to face off against Eggman once more, they are both startled to see the newborn Chao beginning to glow and forming a cocoon, ending the episode on a cliffhanger.
Trivia[]
- This episode was mistakenly labeled as "Chao Tails - EP.7" when first released. This was quickly corrected.
