The Cell Regenerator is a object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.
Description[]
The Cell Regenerator is a large machine with glass panels in a circular shape, with a chair in the middle where the patient sits. The machine releases Regeneration Rays that are meant to stabilize King Max's crystallization.
History[]
Due to having been in the Zone of Silence for a long time, King Max was unable to survive in the regular world, as his body would crystalize. The Cell Regenerator was used by Dr. Quack and Rotor as a means of attempting to slow down and possibly undo this process that he was undergoing, although as Dr. Quack noted, it would be difficult to tell if the Cell Regenerator actually had any meaningful effect until they waited.[1]
