Casino Ring is one of the multiplayer stages for the Battle mode in Sonic Heroes. When playing through all the three stages of Team Battle, Casino Ring is the second stage played in order.
Description
Casino Ring uses the same stage that is also used in Robot Carnival, where it takes place at a large circular platform in the midst of the casino scenery used in Casino Park and BINGO Highway. True to the stage's name, the circular platform has notable details to match the stage, namely a roulette in the innermost circle followed by an annulus of clear glass, an annulus-shaped carpet with alternating shades of red and finally an annulus with white surfaces and black wavy lines.
Overview
In the stage, there are 16 Wooden and Steel Containers placed along the stage's circumference which contains items inside when broken, ranging from Item Box power-up items, springs or in the unluckiest case; iron balls to damage the player. Each specific container has the following item inside when broken as follows (starting with the left-most Steel Container behind Player 1's starting location as Container #1 and counting anti-clockwise):
Container no., type | Item |
---|---|
1, Steel | Invincible |
2, Wooden | Spring |
3, Steel | Three blue Power Cores |
4, Wooden | One Ring |
5, Steel | Iron ball |
6, Wooden | One Ring |
7, Steel | Barrier |
8, Wooden | Spring |
9, Steel | Three yellow Power Cores |
10, Wooden | One Ring |
11, Steel | Iron ball |
12, Wooden | One Ring |
13, Steel | Three red Power Cores |
14, Wooden | Spring |
15, Steel | Iron ball |
16. Wooden | One ring |
The player can also knock the opposing team's character(s) off of the sides of the stage, preventing the lead character that got knocked off from being used. However, any lost character(s) can be brought back by using the team's Team Blast should they successfully fill their Team Blast Gauge.
The winner in this stage is whichever team can force the opposing team off the stage first.
