Template:Lquote Carbuncle (カーバンクル?) is an object that appears in Sonic Shuffle. It is a Forcejewel that contains a fairy that consumes other Forcejewels the player holds.
Description
A Carbuncle is a purple-colored Forcejewel that contains a fairy inside, which is said to have a big appetite.[2] The fairy is said to love eating Forcejewels. Carbuncles will work without permission of the player, as it will automatically eat another Forcejewel at unknown times. Sometimes, it will resort to even eating itself.
