How can I make you understand?

Tikal, Sonic Adventure 2

Captive Light (光のふういん Hikari no Fuuin?, lit. "Light Sealing") is one of Tikal's special attacks in Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. When using this technique, Tikal temporarily freezes the opponent.

Description[]

Tikal's pose when using Captive Light.

When using Captive Light, Tikal raises her right hand into the air and pleas her opponent to understand. Using her spiritual powers, Tikal creates a flashing light that blinds her opponent.[1] The opposing player's screen will then be covered in a green tint and a counter will appear. This effect leaves the opponent completely immobilized, making it an ideal way for the user to gain the upper hand in collecting Emerald Shards. Captive Light lasts for ten to twenty seconds, which is indicated by the counter, although the opposing player can reduce the remaining amount of time by rapidly pressing any buttons.

Captive Light can only be performed by playing as Tikal in the games' two-player mode. To use it, the player must press DreamcastB/SNNBGAMECUBEDISCO/Gamecube X Button on the ground after collecting 60 Rings. To use it again, the player has to collect another 60 Rings.
