Captain Whisker is the robotic leader of a band of pirates from the Sol Zone under the deployment of Dr. Eggman Nega. He exists in both the Pre-and Post-Super Genesis Wave timeline.

History

Aiding Nega

For an unspecified amount of time, Whisker and his crew have been plaguing the seas on Blaze's world. While serving under Dr. Eggman Nega, Whisker and his crew were send on the mission by Dr. Nega to steal the green Chaos Emerald, which had arrived in the Sol Zone. A few day before Sonic the Hedgehog and Tails accidentally arrived in the Sol Zone, Whisker and his crew arrived on Seagull Island and began looting the island in search of the Emerald. Eventually, Whisker and his crew obtained the Chaos Emerald when his top agent Johnny managed to steal it from Sonic, Tails and Marine.

Sometime after the theft, Whisker, Johnny and Dr. Eggman Nega were tracked down by Sonic, Tails, Marine and Blaze, who confronted them. The outcome of their confrontation is unclear, though, according to Marine, she "went all crazy on them and saved the day!", presumably leading to Whisker and the others being defeated.

Captain Versus Captain

Captain Whisker returned in an attempt to gain the Sol Emeralds, coming into conflict with Team Rose, Bean & Bark, and Captain Metal's Blackguard Pirates. Whisker briefly gained the Sol Emerald until the Kraken was destroyed, causing him to drop it into the water.

Powers and abilities

Whisker possesses an incredibly durable and heavy chassis, essentially making his entire body a living cannonball.[1]

Trivia

  • In Sonic Universe #1, Captain Whisker is mistakenly called Captain Whiskers.
  • The fact that Blaze thought Whisker might still be a threat to her people in Sonic Universe #1 indicates that he survived his defeat in Sonic Rush Adventure Writer Ian Flynn has also said that he doesn't "recall it being implied he was destroyed at the end of Sonic Rush Adventure, so I'm assuming he's still active."[2] This would later be confirmed in Sonic Universe #57.
