Captain Tornado[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a gaudily-dressed superhero from New Tek City in the Special Zone, and the leader of the Justice Brigade. He is an anthropomorphic bear with a ponytail who wears a blue-and-red costume, with the letter T on his chest, helmet and shoulders, and has a rocket strapped to his back.
He is the sworn enemy of Baron X and the Discriminators, although this is apparently just because heroes and villains are supposed to fight each other, rather than because of any actual differences between them.[1]

During one fight in New Tek City between the two teams, Baron X punched Captain Tornado in the face. Captain Tornado claimed that the Baron was going soft, since "That punch hardly hurt me at all!", and then punched the Baron in return. The fight quickly descended into a massive brawl, when the Chaotix Crew joined the Justice Brigade. The fight was soon broken up by police officers, and both "heroes" and "villains" fled.[1]
