Candy Corn Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Candy Corn Chao have yellow, orange, and white pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. Their color shifts from yellow at the bottom of their body to white at the top, creating a gradient effect like the candy they are named after. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms or feet have digits. They also have a floating white dot above their heads, yellow tips on their arms and feet, white head points, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Candy Corn Chao is a collectible pet of the "Seasonal" rarity. It could be bought from Amy's BOOtique for 300 pieces of candy each from the 15th of October 2022 to the 22nd of October 2022.

In gameplay, Candy Corn Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Candy Corn Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Candy Corn Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Candy Corn Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Candy Corn Chao by collecting five Candy Corn Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Candy Corn Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Candy Corn Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with. They also have a slight magnet effect that increases the distance from which rings and Chaos Orbs can be collected.
