Candy is a seasonal currency that is used in many places during Halloween, like Amy's BOOtique, a seasonal shop first introduced during Boo Bash. In Amy's BOOtique, you could use your candies to buy chao, trails, mounts and characters. (items sold changed every week) Candy was also used to complete the first Fast Pass.

Completing Daily Challenges, giving you 50 for each.
Using the Free Candy Dispenser, which refills every four hours, giving you 70.
Completing the Pumpkin Hill Time Trials. (varying amounts depending on which)
Found on the ground in Pumpkin Hill and Green Hill for the Fast Pass.
Found in clumps in Pumpkin Hill.
