The Burrobot is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog serialized manga published by Shogakukan. It is a mole-based robot model created by Dr. Eggman.[1]
Appearance[]
The Burrobot has large orange body consisting of a round torso and a large head with round white eyes and black pupils, gray disks for ear pieces and a large gray cone-shaped drill bit for a nose. On its head it wears a yellow hard hat. Its chest is orange, its shoulders are yellow and disk-shaped, and its two arms are gray with three sharp fingers on each hand. As legs, it has tracked wheels on each side, which run between two wheels; one is small and one is bigger.[1]
History[]
Shogaku Ninensei[]
During his escape from Labyrinth Zone, Sonic was ambushed by the Burrobot, which tunneled up through the floor below, and pursued the hedgehog at high speed. However, Sonic lured the Burrobot towards a large spinning saw, and jumped to the side at the last moment, causing the Burrobot to continue onwards and be sliced in half.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
Thanks to its drill nose, the Burrobot can easily tunnel through rocky surfaces. It is also relatively fast on ground, being able to keep up with even Sonic over short distances.[1]
