Buns Rabbot, formerly known as Anti-Bunnie, or Evil Bunnie, (born 3219) is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. She is Bunnie D'Coolette's Anti-Verse counterpart from Anti-Mobius and one of Scourge the Hedgehog's girlfriends, until she found out he was cheating on her with Anti-Penelope Platypus, and she subsequently sought revenge against him. Anti-Bunnie was once a member of the Anti-Freedom Fighters, but Evil Sonic (at this point renamed Scourge) kicked her out of the group after she developed Neuro-Immuno Deficiency Syndrome (NIDS), a degenerative illness. After being left for dead, she was rescued by Dr. Ivo Kintobor, who placed her in the care of the Omega Care Unit to prevent her NIDS from spreading. Since then, Buns has served as a protector of the kindly Julian Kintobor.
Appearance[]
Buns has an identical appearance to her original counterpart, Bunnie. Surprisingly, Buns never got roboticized as the roboticizer was never invented in Mobius. She initially wore a hat with a black suit in her first appearance. After that, she would wear a purple and black sleeveless top while operating her Omega Care Unit.
History[]
Anti-Freedom Fighter[]
Anti-Bunnie was first encountered by Sonic Prime when he was sent into Moebius by Scourge. During a brief battle with the Anti-Freedom Fighters, both Anti-Bunnie and Anti-Sally Acorn were thrown into toxic vats containing Octopods.[1]
Health Crisis and Change of Allegiances[]
In the interim period between Scourge's return to Anti-Mobius and his invasion of Mobius Prime, Anti-Bunnie developed NIDS. The disease first manifested in her spinal column, with the ensuing damage to her neuromuscular system leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. No longer of any use to him, Bunnie was- in her own words- "left for dead" by Scourge.
"Buns" would have ultimately died, succumbing to the effects caused by the unchecked degeneration of her neuromuscular system, if not for the humanitarian intervention of Dr. Kintobor. The doctor, long familiar with Scourge/Evil Sonic's ruthlessness, built the Omega Care Unit to halt the spread of the disease. The armored suit would maintain and support Buns' health and vital functions as Kintobor worked on finding a cure, while also allowing her to protect the Doctor from the Suppression Squad during their efforts to obtain the Globe Posts.
She mistook Sonic for Scourge and attacked him and Amy Rose, after they came out of a dimensional portal into Kintobor's home in search of assistance against the Suppression Squad. Buns accompanied them to Anti-Castle Acorn to find Anti-Amy Rose, known here as "Rosy the Rascal", to defeat Scourge.[2]Rosy stalked and attacked them, exclaiming, "You're a Sonic! My Scourgey is a Sonic! I want to smash Sonics!". As they engaged in battle, Buns used her riot foam to immobilize her, only for Rosy to simply destroy the foam with her hammer. At this, Buns remarked, "Ah wish ah'd been outfitted with somethin' a bit more proactive... like a missile launcher or somethin".
After this, Amy stayed behind to keep Rosy distracted while Buns and Sonic located the Globe Posts that had been stolen from Anti Robotnik. Buns was concerned about leaving Amy to fight alone, though Sonic informed her she could take care of herself. Buns then protected Sonic while he used the Globe Posts to see what was going on in Mobius. Rosy broke Amy's hammer and then tried to destroy the Globe Posts. Rosy managed to crush part of the Omega Care Unit, leaving Buns defenseless. Luckily, the suit had enough power for her to fly out of the Anti Castle Acorn and back to Dr. Kintobor's tower, telling Amy to "give that brat [Rosy] a whuppin' for me."[3][4]
Buns later returned in her repaired Omega Care Unit to retrieve the Globe Posts from the Suppression Squad after they defeated Super Scourge. She was offered the chance to re-join them by Anti-Miles, claiming it was Scourge that wanted her out, and that with the OCU she could be a great asset to the group. But she quickly answered, "Yer a creepy little cuss, y'know that?" Anti-Miles simply asked her to think about his proposition. Buns went with the Freedom Fighters back to Dr. Kintobor's tower with the Globe posts in hand.[5]
Personality[]
Buns intially acted similar to the Freedom Fighters' Moebius counterparts in her first appearance. She was arrogant, rude, and sarcastic. After Scourge and the team abandoned her, she would become somewhat nicer, though she would be more aggressive and ruthless, due to her fear of being abandoned again.
Powers and abilities[]
Buns has the same combat proficiency as her original counterpart, as seen when she violently kicks Sonic during their first meeting. However, due to her illness, she now operates in her own Omega Care Unit, which gives her enhanced speed and strength while in it.
Relationships[]
Scourge the Hedgehog[]
Buns was one of Scourge the Hedgehog's many girlfriends, though this ended when she learned of his infidelity with Alicia and Anti-Penelope Platypus.

Enemies[]
- Anti-Penelope Platypus
- Suppression Squad (former teammates)
- Rosy the Rascal
Trivia[]
- Buns' name comes from Sonic the Hedgehog #3, where Bunnie's introduced herself to Knothole Freedom Fighters as either "Bunnie" or "Buns", though the latter was never used by them. It would later be revealed that this was a childhood nickname given to Bunnie by her uncle Beauregard Rabbot. It is therefore likely that Buns also received it as a nickname and subsequently adopted it as her new name when Scourge enforced his changes upon Moebius.
- Unlike her counterpart, Anti-Bunnie is not half-roboticized, due to the lack of a Roboticizer-employing villain or other party in their universe.
