The Bruiser Boys are a group that appear in the anime series Sonic X and its comic series published by Archie Comics. They are a group of thugs from Oriental City, led by Li Yan.

Chaos Emerald Saga[]
When learning of his acquiring of a Chaos Emerald, the Bruiser Boys kidnapped and detained Hawk so they could learn where he had hid the Emerald. Later on, when Knuckles the Echidna showed up to meet Hawk, Li Yan tricked Knuckles into falling into a trap, detaining him alongside Hawk, though with Knuckles' skills, the two were able to escape the Bruiser Boys.[1]
Archie Comics[]
After their encounter with Knuckles, the Bruiser Boys would ally themselves with the Society for Observing and Neutralizing Inter-dimensional Creatures and Xenomorphs, with their leader becoming an official member of said group. When Sonic the Hedgehog began to escape from S.O.N.I.C.X after having captured him, Li Yan ordered the Bruiser Boys to stop Sonic but the hedgehog easily knocked them out.[2]
