The Brotherhood of Guardians is a group that is mentioned in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They were an alternate version of the Brotherhood of Guardians from Dark Mobius.
History[]
The Brotherhood of Guardians' early history was most likely largely the same as its Mobius Prime counterpart's. The point of divergence was when the youngest of their number, Knuckles, became corrupted by his chaos powers and decided to conquer Mobius. As Knuckles' policies for bringing "peace" to Mobius grew more radical, the Brotherhood grew increasingly opposed to them. In particular, they disagreed with Knuckles' employment of the Dark Legion, and the dispute grew to the point where Knuckles responded violently to their objections, with Spectre bearing the brunt of his wrath.[1]
