Plot
One day, Amy receives a telegram saying that she has won the Most Selfless Award and is invited to an awards ceremony. She asks Sonic and Knuckles to keep her house clean while she is away. When she leaves, Sonic and Knuckles do a stunt, but while they are eating nachos, Amy's couch gets stained. Sonic tries to clean it with a towel and grape soda but to no avail, and the couch also gets ripped when Sonic and Knuckles try to take it outside. Then, the two are watching TV when Comedy Chimp advertises a game show called "Bro-Down Showdown", with the grand prize being a new couch. However, Eggman is using a Fly Bot to listen in.
At the Village Center, Sonic and Knuckles are auditioning when Eggman shows up. When Sonic and Eggman argue, staff member stops the scuffle and decides to make them partners. The show is about to start, and Comedy Chimp serves as the host. The contestants are, in order from left to right, Sonic and Eggman, Knuckles and Mike the Ox, two Stuntbears, and Dave the Intern and Lady Walrus. In the game, Comedy Chimp asks players questions about their teammate, with correct answers scoring points. On one question, the Stuntbears argue with each other, resulting in a disqualification. At the end of the round, Knuckles and Mike have the lowest score and are eliminated from the competition. Before the second round, one of Eggman's robots shows up, and Comedy Chimp says Sonic and Eggman have to attack it together. However, Knuckles attacks it by himself and is able to hit a missile away using a stick. But then, the robot takes on Knuckles and has him pinned to the ground. Just when the robot is about to fire, Sonic rescues him and the two manage to destroy the robot. Eggman is mad that his plan did not work, and this results in a disqualification. Dave and Lady Walrus are declared the winners and head to the couch, only to stain it while eating nachos.
Back at Amy's house, Amy has arrived back home, and Sonic and Knuckles alert her not to come in. Sure enough, the missile Knuckles hit crashes into her house, destroying the couch. Sonic and Knuckles say that it was Eggman's fault and walk away. Amy looks at the destruction in silence.
Goofs
