Bottlenose Dolphin[1] is a character than appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin offs published by Archie Comics. As his name suggests, he is a mobian bottlenose dolphin and a member of the Forty Fathom Freedom Fighters. As the team's mammal, he also serves as the Forty Fathom Freedom Fighters' liaison to the surface world.[1]

Appearance[]

Bottlenose is a non-anthropomorphic bottlenose dolphin with a grey body and a white underside. He has a short dorsal fin and his pectoral fins are quite triangular.

History[]

Southern Crossover[]

Once, Bottlenose helped Tails defeat Octobot.[2] He joined Ray when bringing Tails his repaired Sea Fox.

Eel of Fortune[]

Bottlenose later single-handedly defeated Eel Capone with his skills as a Finja warrior, after creating a current that killed all of Capone's Mussels.[3]

The Island of Misfit Badniks[]

Bottlenose's current technique led the Crabmeat and Motobug to their defeats. He then helped take on the Misfit Badniks using his Finja skills on a Bat Brain. He also took on Splats, but had to rely on Fluke to stop Pseudo-Sonic.[4]

Powers and abilities[]

As an aquatic mobian, Bottlenose is capable of aquatic respiration, allowing him to breathe both on land and underwater.

Bottlenose is a trained finja - the ocean's breed of ninja. He is as well fast, agile and incredibly skilled in the sea.[1] One of his finja skills is a water current, which he frequently uses in battle.
