Bobsled Race

Bobsled Race is one of the multiplayer minigames in Sonic Heroes' 2P Battle Mode. It is unlocked in 2P Battle mode after collecting eighty Emblems in single-player mode.

Overview

In this multiplayer mode, two players each control a team in bobsled formation and will race around the course on a bobsled, avoiding obstacles that slow the team's bobsled. Each time a team gets attacked by obstacles (spikes for example), they will lose a character (speed, power and flight in that order) which will hinder the bobsled as it will not be as fast or maneuverable. However, if the player has lost any characters before successfully completing a lap, those lost characters are restored in the next lap. The winner of this game mode is whoever completes three laps around the course (the leading team is represented by a crown next to their lap count) or if the opposing team has lost all of their team's three characters (being attacked by obstacles three times in a lap).

Stages

The following three stages played in Bobsled Race are (in order):

• Seaside Course
• City Course
• Casino Course

When the player selects "ALL", the game will go through all three of the stages mentioned. The player who wins at least two out of three stages wins the entire minigame.
