Seriously, who plays this? The novelty is long gone.
EDIT: Referring to the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games "series".

Don't bash. Olympic games is really good series and it raises my intellgence about sports
Not bashing, just not much into sports games.
I don't care much for 'em. Honestly, I would have rather saw like some sort of fight game between Sonic and Mario characters than this charade.

yeah, I would just settle with more Sonic characters in Smash Bros.
To be blunt, I hope the series stays for a looooooong time. It could help promote the upcoming Olympics, the idea of Mario and Sonic visiting famous cities is really interesting, and finally, it's just so fun to play.
Never. When the bombs fall and the dust settles, all that shall be left will be cockroaches, twinkies, and Mario and Sonic Olympic games.

I can imagine Nintendo making there own Pip-Boys by then for the games to still be playable.
I'll say London 2012 was an improvement over the first Mario & Sonic because in that one I couldn't win any events aside from 100M Freestyle (though I kinda did like that version of it better because of its theme song in the relay version) but most events in London 2012 are easily winnable and hopefully Rio 2016 is the same, plus we've got 20 new characters, three of which I'm really looking forward to (Espio, Wave, and Eggman Nega)
