Blue Crate is gifted with Psychokinesis-like powers as it can easily paralyze anything that is caught in it's range from robots to life forms and sometimes destroy them. When someone destroys one of the Blue Crate then it will explodes and big light will unleashes and paralyze every enemy that is nearing one of them for a short of time and then the paralyzing effect will disappear. The Blue Crate has also the ability to review hidden items such as rings or anything else by destroying it as well. Those objects can be used by any character in the game and it can also be picked up by Silver and it can be destroyed easily by any hit it takes. Like the Psychokinesis, it cannot paralyze the most powerful enemies like Golem or Egg Guardian and the player has to deal some damages to the enemy or waiting for the enemy to remove his shields first then use the item.

Overview

A594 SonictheHedgehog PS3 46

The intense light the blue crate creates.

Blue crates can be found everywhere in the game, although they are the rarest form of Container. When destroying a blue crate in gameplay, it releases a blinding light that paralyzes all enemies in the vicinity for a short of time, as if they have been hit by Psycho Smash or Psycho Shock. However, the blue crates cannot paralyze enemies that have their guard up, like Golems or Egg Guardians. In rare cases, the blue crates can even destroy enemies.

In a particular Town Mission, the destruction of a blue crate is used to make a bystander drop a hidden Ring which is needed to complete the Town Mission.
