When performing Blue Bomber, Tails flies up in front of the target, while Sonic runs up in the front. When meeting with each other, Sonic jumps up and grabs Tails' hands, before climbing onto Tails' back. With Sonic in position, Tails then starts raising Sonic and himself higher into the air, while facing their target. Once at the appropriate height, Tails does two flips in mid-air, while holding onto Sonic, before throwing Sonic while he is performing the Spin Attack into the target with increased momentum. After hitting the opponent, Sonic rebounds from the target and fall back towards the target once more and delivers an additional strike. After striking the opponent, Sonic and Tails then retreat to their group position, with Tails flying Sonic jumping back.
In gameplay, Blue Bomber deals attack damage to a single target with two strikes. When it deals damage, Blue Bomber has a chance of inflicting Weakened on the target. The higher the level of Blue Bomber is, the more attack damage it will deal and the greater the possibility that it will inflict weaken on an opponent.
Real-Time Interaction[]
When performing Blue Bomber in gameplay, the player has to complete a series of real-time events by performing certain actions on the Touch Screen, in order to execute Blue Bomber optimally:
The player has to touch and stay inside the outer circle that appears when it overlaps the inner circle and follow it vertically across the middle of the screen, from the bottom of the screen to the top.
The player has to touch and stay inside the outer circle that appears when it overlaps the inner circle and follow it in a curve from the top of the screen to the right.
The player has to touch the inside of two circles in succession when the outer circles overlap the inner circles.
Missing or not touching these circles correctly will either result in Sonic missing a strike or the damage from the attack being reduced.

Trivia[]
Coindentally, this type of move has the same name as the nickname of Capcom's mascot, Mega Man.
Amy and Cream have a similar POW move in Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, called Spin Cycle, where Cream flies into the air and throws Amy into the opponent.
The name of the POW move may be a reference to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, a Canadian Football team.
