Blaster[1] is a move used by Miles "Tails" Prower in Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice. When performing this move, Tails takes aim with his blaster and fires a laser.
Description
When performing Blaster, Tails pulls out his blaster, takes aim and fires a straight-lined green laser at his target.

In gameplay, Blaster can destroy enemies and temporarily freeze/melt water blocks from a distance while Fire/Ice Mode is active.[1] If an enemy is hit by Blaster while Ice Mode is active they will be frozen in ice before exploding. Blaster shots can as well go through targets, allowing the player to hit multiple opponents caught in the Blaster's line of shot. Also, blue-green blocks marked with an icon of Tails' Blaster (akin to the dash blocks) that bar the paths can be hit with Blaster to make them vanish.[2] Should Blaster hit a Laser Reflect, it will bounce off it in a perfect geometrical direction, allowing it to hit targets out of range.
To use Blaster in gameplay, the player must press 
while on the ground or in midair. While aiming, a thin green line will appear which shows the path of the laser, even if it were to bounce off a Laser Reflect. The Blaster can't be aimed when used in midair.
