The Blaster[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics.

Description[]

Appearance[]

Blasters are grey fire arms that often come in varying sizes, though more often than not, they are large enough to necessitate holding them with both hands. The Royal Army also has access to its own Blasters, although their design is distinct from the Blasters used by the Dark Legion.

Features and traits[]

Blasters fire laser energy beams to combat enemies from afar. They are a considerably powerful weapon

History[]

Blasters have been used by the Dark Legion throughout their various operations, first being seen when they invaded Angel Island. They would continue to use Blaster throughout their future operations, even when they came under the authority of the Eggman Empire and Iron Dominion as the Albion Dark Egg Legion. [1]

The Royal Army also used larger Blasters when they were defending Robotropolis' Dome Force Field from being destroyed by the Iron King.[2]

Although Blasters are a mass-produced primarily by the Dark Legion, their production is also common across all of Mobius, as even those on other continents, such as Jack Rabbit, who has no affiliation with the Dark Legion, uses a Blaster, which is his trademark weapon.
