The Black Singe Ring is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a type of nose-ring worn by the Dragons of Mobius.
Description[]
Black Singe Rings are worn by many Dragons on their noses, and appear to have mystical properties. While Dragons are known to be capable of breathing fire without these rings, the replacement of a power ring inhibits many of their innate talents. This latter procedure was apparently done as a punishment to Dragons who violated their codes, like when Dulcy was given a power ring for breaking the rules about interacting with surface-dwelling Mobians.[1][2]
