The birthday key is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a special key which allows its user to unlock doors on the Mirage Express. During the events of the game, it is used by Amy Rose to get around the train while the doors are locked.
Description[]
The birthday key is yellow-gold looking key with its top half resembling an iced cake with a lone stripped candle atop it, and the bottom half being a normal key.
Overview[]
The birthday key, as it suggests, is given to an individual on their birthday, on the Mirage Express. In this instance, given to Amy Rose for her party aboard the train. This allowed Amy to unlock any door she wanted to, despite Shadow locking all of them. Ultimately, it's the expresses' master key.
