Benjy is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. He is a young kangaroo who resides on Angel Island.

History[]
During a windy day on Angel Island, Benjy got separated by his mother. He was spotted by Knuckles and he picked up the young kangaroo. The high winds force them to come down, leading to a quick conversation that shows Benjy knows who Knuckles is. The two have to go into a tree to avoid a pack of dingoes that are moving because of the weather. After they leave, Knuckles and Benjy search for the mamma kangaroo, during so when the wind stops. It is revealed it was caused by a solar eclipse. With the wind gone, the mamma kangaroo jumps out and reunites with Benjy. He returns to his mother's pouch and thanks Knuckles for his help.[1]
