The Beetle [citation needed is an enemy that was set to appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog seriesGuardian based on a beetle that was to dwell on Kronos and Ares Islands , being seen in leaked beta footage of Sonic Frontiers [ 1]
In the finalized version of Sonic Frontiers , it was completely removed. However, its unused attacks can still be found within the game's internal files.[ 1]
Description [ ] Appearance [ ] The Beetle is a large, hulking beetle-shaped Guardian with a primarily gray-black body color with red markings around the insides. It has energy canons on its back and what seem to be arms on its head.
Features and traits [ ] History [ ] Sonic Frontiers [ ] The Beetle does not appear in the game, having been replaced by the Caterpillar . Despite this, the Beetle's unused attacks appear in the game's internal files, mainly, the "simpleRotateBullet" and "planeUpDownBullet" attacks.
