Bee Chao is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a Chao that can increase their bonded individual's rewards.

Appearance

Bee Chao have yellow, pudding-like bodies with round, waterdrop-like heads. They have many black stripes on their body, resembling real life bees. They also have large eyes, no noses or mouths, round torsos that are smaller than their heads, smooth feet with no legs, and arms with no visible hands. In addition, neither their arms or feet have digits. They also have a floating black dot above their heads, black tips on their arms, feet and head points, short and round tails, and a small set of wings on their backs.

Overview

In Sonic Speed Simulator, Bee Chao is a collectible pet of the "Uncommon" rarity. It can be unlocked at the cyan and magenta vending machine in Lost Valley. When purchasing from this vending machine, the player has a 10% chance of getting a Bee Chao.

In gameplay, Bee Chao can be equipped to the playable character, allowing them to fly by the side of the playable character as they move around. In addition, when equipped, Bee Chao will grant additional Experience Points whenever the playable character obtains a Chaos Orb and additional Rings whenever they pick up a single Ring. The player can as well level up Bee Chao for a cost of Rings and/or Red Star Rings at the Upgrade Machine, with level 25 being the maximum level. Leveling up a Bee Chao will improve its reward-granting attributes. Additionally, the player can fuse a Bee Chao by collecting five Bee Chao, leveling all of them up to maximum, and bringing them to the Fusion Machine. Fusing a Bee Chao will result in a singular fused Chao at level 1.

Powers and abilities

Bee Chao are capable of flight. In addition, they possess the power to increase the rewards granted to the person they have bonded with.
