Beam Walk[1] is a move that appears in the Sonic Boom series. It is used exclusively by Amy Rose. When performing this move, Amy walks across Balance Beams to reach areas that other characters cannot.
Description[]
When performing Beam Walk, Amy grabs onto a Balance Beam and swings herself elegantly and gracefully on top of it where she can move perfectly and unhindered around on it.
In gameplay, Amy can grab onto Balance Beams either by touching them from below or landing on them from above. This move lets the player walk and jump along Balance Beams to reach areas exclusive to Amy. To activate the move in gameplay, Amy simply has to make contact with the Balance Beam. While walking along the Balance Beams, the player can move forward or backwards on them, and jump on them without risking of falling off them. The player is also able to make safe jumps between Balance Beams.
