Bananas (バナナ) are items that only appear in Competition mode of Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
Description
One banana is inside of bubble, that appears floating and rotating around at one point of competition stage with Self-Propelled Bomb. When the player picks up banana in the air, it falls down to the ground until the rival or even accidentally player himself runs over it, which causes slipping and thereby slowing down for few seconds. The player has memorize the location of banana, where it is fallen after picking it up in the air.
