A banana
Bananas (バナナ Banana?) are items that only appear in Competition mode of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles. Bananas begin inside of a bubble, that appears floating and rotating around at one point of competition Zones, along with Self-Propelled Bomb. When the player picks up a banana in the air, it falls down to the ground until a player runs over it, which causes the character to slip and thereby slow down for few seconds.
